LOEWE MARINE and its Korean partner MOVENA successfully complete second rudder system for high-speed RoRo ferry on behalf of Northern European customer.
The twin rudder system fully complies with all specifications. This was confirmed by thorough testing of the hydraulic cone couplings of all subassemblies as well as the final Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), which encompassed the steel of both rudder systems and rudder stock/rudder blade blueprint acceptance also of each steering gear tiller. “We are delighted that our customer is totally satisfied with LOEWE MARINE’s high-quality products,” said LOEWE MARINE’s CEO Carsten Löhmer. “The success of this project is in no small measure due to our partner’s highly motivated and professional employees who supported our team on site in South Korea.”
